Generally, acidic and high salt content liquids should be avoided

Compatibility and stability testing is required for products sold in stainless-steel. We worked with Bio-D to satisfactorily complete testing for its laundry liquids. We have also seen Unilever’s Persil non bio laundry detergent sold in stainless steel 304. Using stainless steel 304 for these products is fine

We cannot advise on the suitability of stainless steel for any other liquid products. It may well be suitable, but we have not done the testing to demonstrate this (the testing is costly and slow, taking well over three months per product)

If you choose to use these stainless steel bottles for different liquids make sure to check for marking or corrosion. Switch to an alternative material, such as glass, if you see signs of corrosion
